I'm looking at adding a set to my gear for next hunting season. I'd like a set of compact/mid size binos in the 8x30ish range. Looking for the best bang for under $500 in this size class. These will be the ones around my neck every time I walk fields, fence lines, creek bottoms and coulees. I've been using a decent set of Minox in 10x42 but am wanting a bit smaller and lighter for next season. I also have a set of 8x40/42 Sightron SII's and a 7x35 Pentax but both are a bit on the bulky side, especially the Pentax for the mag range that they are. These two sets have become my token 'truck' binos.
I don't wear glasses and I have excellent eyesight for my age so eye relief is not an issue nor should it be for at least a few more years lol.
Experienced recommendations preferred please
