companies that ship within Canada

I don't get it , WHY NOT ???

After asking a primer price question, this was thier response:

Unfortunately we are not reloaders ourselves and therefore are hesitate to provide info other than general because of safety issues in regards to recommending reloading components. Generally it is best to buy a proper reloading box which should give you all the correct info. We carry a good selection of primers that range in price from $36.00 to $54.00 per 1000. We also do not ship powder or primers - these items are only available to purchase in person at our store.

Buying components on-line/mail order gets expensive, fast, when you add the shipping. Any cost savings are gone. Go to your local gun shop.

BS....I just had 40lbs of Varget delivered to my house today from Hirsch Precision and it cost me less per pound (tax/delivery included) to get it online than I can get it locally before taxes.

X2

I order most of my powder & primers from Higginson's and at the end of the day they cost me about 60% of what the local shop charges.

I am all for supporting local dealers as much as possible but there is a point where support becomes nothing more than corporate welfare.

It is a bit of a hassle as an online retailer for reloading components.
anything under the Explosives regulations must follow:

and if you are a small retailer (such as I am ) you don't need a license pr have to do the above but you have to keep records of your sales that prove you have not sold explosives to minors.

I take PAL cards for non-face to face sales. Sucks but I can verify them.

It can get expensive shipping far, but within 10 hours drive isn't bad.

dinsdale I live very close to Kempville do you have a retail store with powder, primers and bullets. I am new to reloading and am looking for someplace to buy these things from. Lebarons sucks for components and the other near by place is very expensive.
