Hi guys,

I'm pondering adding a Finn M39 to my collection, but have not had a chance to handle one in person. I have a couple of Swiss K31 rifles, which I like very much, except for one thing --- I find the wrist of the stock to be pretty thick and clunky feeling (this is just my opinion of the "feel" in relation to my hand size).

I'm curious if someone who has handled an M39 could comment on how the pistol grip/wrist area of the stock compares to the Swiss K31? Does it feel the same, thicker, or thinner?

Thanks!

Just bumping for one last try. I know it's perhaps a strange question, but I'd really like to know how the thickness of the wrist area of a Finnish M39 compares to a Swiss K31.

Much appreciated!

I have owned an M39 and a K31. I would say they are roughly the same for the pistol grip. I also personally found the K31's grip was easier and more comfortable to hold while shooting.

You won't be disappointed with a Finnish M39 either way.
