Hi there,
Does anyone know if it is allowed to change the hammer for a competition hammer and still be accepted has a Production gun in IPSC?

I know it is ok for a CZ75 SP-01 Shadow but is it for a CZ85 Combat model?

Thanks

if it is made by CZ then it is ok. if it is made by CZ USA it is not.

CZ USA is owned 100% by CZ UB. So a wholly owned subsidiary does not qualify as part of the parent company. Odd.

cam1936 do the factory springs have CZ imprinted on them? If they don't how does one tell if they are factory or not? I have it on good authority that CZ does not make their own springs.

Take Care

Bob

It's legal.
Also, Combat has different and much better hammer than 75B; Combat factory hammer is pretty good, actually. Comp hammer will give you shorter hooks thou.

I agree with Bob, CZ USA is not another and different company with coincidentally similar name and same product they sell. It's like saying - Springfield XDs made in Croatia are not Springfield and cannot be used in IPSC, or Glocks assembled in USA and so on..
