I am interested to know of any air pistol competition shooting clubs etc. in Ontario? I'm not sure if something like this exists, but I am interested to know more if it does.

If you are located anywhere near Burlington, ON, there are airgun practice sessions open to the public, and free of charge at Range Burlington on Sunday mornings. Schedules are made available by the airgun section admins.

They also host Pistol Field Target matches there during the winter months.

If regulation 10M pistol is what you are looking for, they also have a group that shoots that discipline.

If you are close enough to take advantage of this facility, I can provide you with the appropriate contact info.
 
Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, Burlington is 2.5 hours away from me. I was hoping for something closer to home. Maybe I need to be part of all this to expand this sport and get something going in my neck of the woods.
 
You may find that sometimes, a drive is the order of the day if you are looking for a match to attend.
Burlington is about an hour drive (one way) for me, and we have folks attending the Pistol Field Target matches from as far away as Windsor and Chatham, which is around 4 hours one way.
Once you arrive and get involved in the match and the general camaraderie of the other participants, that drive will seem much more worth while.

BTW, where exactly is your neck of the woods?
We may even have people coming from that area that we can hook you up with for a car-pool.

Consider yourself lucky friend. Myself, if I wish to attend a Free Pistol match, I drive for a minimum of 4 hours and often end up with a hotel bill.
