Yep, I shot about 10K rds within the last two months with my Ruger MKIII. It is awfully dirty. My question is: Can I use Remington Brite Bore to clean the stock/handle if I remove the wood grips? I was told it might damage some components of the trigger group. True or false???? I don't see what it could do! What would you do? Cheers,

I'ld completely strip it down to the last pin and screw, and detail clean it by hand, but that's just me. 10k rds is a lot of shooting in a short amount of time. Be a good opportunity to have a close look for wear, etc too...
