components to piller bedding

hello im looking to bed a rifle in teh futre and i have someone who will do the bedding but im wondering about what people use for pillars and where to get them and cost? and what ones to choose help plz

They are just steel or aluminum tubes. You can buy them (Brownells), but they are really easy and cheap to make. I often use scraps of old rifle barrels; turn, drill, cut to length.

Go to your local hardware store in the plumbing section and you will find stuff jump out at you, 1/4" black pipe works among other things.
