After full length resizing I use the runout gauge on the case necks and the runout should not be anymore than the neck thickness variation.
I also recommend Forster full length benchrest dies with the high mounted expander that greatly reduces neck runout. And also the Forster or Redding benchrest seating dies.
Bottom line, checking the cases with the two gauges above helps when setting up your dies and finding out where the runout starts.
I have the RCBS Case Master, and like the versatility of it. With one tool I can check/measure brass or bullet runout, case neck thickness, case head separation, case length & maybe more??? Mine's an older model with the Mitutoyo dial gauge, and I got it for something like $75 off the EE.
