Confession

You live in Alberta, and have never shot EITHER? Where you can legally shoot a wolf/coyote on SIGHT?

You disappoint me.

Okay, I've never got a wolf either... but coyotes... oh man...

I have never shot a moose, elk keep getting in the road....never shot a wolf either...watched a couple mosey around though....held my fire...like 'em actually...

Where I do the majority of my hunting it's big forest and during a hunt I can only remember seeing a coyote a couple times in 25 years. One my brother (gut) shot and I finished it off, which I do not count, and the other Republic of Alberta shot up in V.H. area.

I had 2 shots at a wolf one time but that was the day after I had run over my rifle and knocked the scope loopy...

Some of these days I gotta get out and actually hunt some wolves. I told myself all winter I was gonna and winter came and went.

If I lived in the farming country (where the coyotes seem to be thick as thieves) I'd definitely be knocking down a few; I've got no excuse on the wolves though...

Ya, they are spittin fools. But they sure make nice steaks.

This is Blackjack heading on his way to the back of the barn. A .22 mag to the back of the head and fire up the BBQ :D

He was just a little guy, that we were going to use for sheep hunting, but he turned out to be a pain in the ass.

Now I have a new one :)

I have never shot 100 coons at the local dump at 2am by the headlights of my truck. (at least thats my story;) )

Shot a cattle beast that made a cedar swamp his home until the farmer gave us the green light. He was not that easy to get but very tasty.
