Is it just me or do any of you other guys find the following confusing? There's a chap selling powder on the EE and he states "local pick up only, shipping is on the buyer". I don't know if I'm missing something, but which is it? Local pick up only? Willing to ship? I contacted him but have not received a reply (as yet). I am interested if he'll ship.

If it's local pick up only I'm guessing the shipping will be pretty cheap.

Can't say for certain of course, but if I were the seller I'd tell you this: Even though shipping is a PITA vs. selling local, I'm perfectly fine with the short, predictable drive to the local post office to ship, but I'm not okay driving all the way across the city to meet you somewhere where I can and likely will run into any manner of f**kery. And that's just in Calgary, I can only imagine Toronto.
Hence, If you live in my city, come pick it up. If not, I'll ship it to you. Either way, it's relatively easy for me. Of course, there's the possibility that the seller just buggered up their listing and they don't intend on shipping powder at all (like most people), and just had that in there because they cut and pasted from another listing.
I've always found this to be a problem with this forum since I joined. It's easy enough to include your location in your profile (as you and I have done), or directly in your listing, but so few people do it. I don't know if people are afraid of giving their general location for fear of someone coming to steal their guns? or just lazy? I for one just immediately move on from a listing in the EE that does not include a location (even if it's an item that I'm looking for and even if the person has great feedback).
But hey, I might be missing something too, so anyone feel free to fire back on this.
