Does anybody know what gun is in the picture of Conrad Schumann jumping over the Berlin Wall when it was still just barbed wire? I can't tell just from the picture.

From the picture of the statue it looks maybe like a PPSh?

Schumann was actually a riot police officer, not an actual soldier.
