Personally, I'd go with the 11.8" for the extra velocity better "aimability". Bear in mind that the 7.5" will have a much higher cyclic rate too. Not sure if that makes any difference or not though.

If I'm going to be restricted either way, give me the smallest one possible. I doubt you have bench rest competition in mind, and the 7.5 will definitely be aimable at anything at any range a restricted approved range can provide. So, I'd go for the 7.5".

Although, I'd not trade my non-restricted for a restricted, and I'd personally have a lot of difficulty justifying two, but that's just me.

Get 'em both! :) The 11.75 will take aftermarket forends.... that's why I went with it. This should be in red rifles though.

<imo> The 7.5 looks ridiculous , and the 11.5 looks awesome </imo>

What kind of grip could you possibly get on the 7.5 besides holding the mag?

Plus as mentioned you get better speed out of the 11.5 and the std forend capability.

Thanks for replies guys... I think i will go with 11.8"....as i am thinking of putting a sight on, it will look kinda ugly on 7.5"(as if the gun was attached to the sight)

Still Open to more FeEdBaCk

Where are you in BC?
It might help if you could shoot them before you buy.I have the 7.5 one and i am very impressed with it.If you are near the south Okanagan you can try mine out if you want.:)

Unfortunately m in lower mainland

I think eventually I will end up adding both to my collection....:D

in army we use AKS-74U (look like one with shorter barrel)-cant hit any target for good over 150-200m.general opinion was is good for suicide in desperate moment))

11 to 12 inch is the shortest I would go with this inaccurate round. Although some people just like to shoot fire balls & I am all for that ;)

looks like curtton has the 5.56. It shouldn't be inaccurate with that length barrel.

curtton, I'd like to see it with one of your custom folders and maybe an AK grip. Have you tried a scout mount set up? Looks like chin weld season on that.

That doesn't look what I thought Initially.... nice :)
what kinda sight is it? and the stock is aftermarket....?

the rd is an aimpoint micro , if you want something cheaper and similar size then i recommend a bushnell trs-25 .

the folder is a FAB galil , they are not too common and kinda expensive .

no scout mounts for the csa shorty twins , they were design for side mounts so thats what i will use .

as for the custom side folders, i have no plans on moving them out of my two FSN below.

Yes you can no problem, atleast I do with mine. The 7.5" dont get the respect they deserve. Good accuracy at 100y, great accuracy at 50y-25y.

The only cons I see with this rifle is the fact I cant go hunt/ take it outside of a range.

Yes I would try to go hunt with it.
