And I'm wondering if this 9mm pistol is worth the money or is it all just looks...I love Sig pistols however I've only handled the 1911's...which of the P226's are truly great...I have medium hands and love the G17's and Walther PPQ Navy which I have one of...However I haven't had the opportunity to handle a Sig Scorpion....Wondering what my fellow CGN'rs who have had that opportunity can tell me...

I put the first hundred rounds through my new Scorpion yesterday. I'm quite happy with it. Fits my hands well and functioned flawlessly. Visible wear was slight. Basically a tiny bit of the finish internal to the slide rails. No regrets here.

Worth it....every penny

My first semi was a P226 Stainless Elite. Recently bought a P229 stainless elite.

2 of my favorite guns to shoot.

The problem with the Scorpion is not with the brand name, it is with "the cool factor" growing old quickly. It only took a few months for the look to bore me. I look back nostalgically at the photos occasionally but know that I am better off being conservative in my choices from now on. This is just me. I just posted this to stimulate thought, that's all. Oh, and mine was a 1911 Carry Scorpion. I hope you make the right choice for you, regardless of anyone's opinion. My P229 and P220 are a dream to shoot. I love Sigs hands down.
