I figured the same thing. Figured for the price was worth the gamble.

I always wanted a colt 1911, so I figured why not a 103 year old one!

I wouldn't necessarily touch it, but I was thinking it may clean up nice if I ever did decide to not keep it "aged"

I love the rough look, I'm sure it has some stories to tell.

How do you guys work with out of Province sale and Tax?

To BC do you charge 5% GST only, or GST and BC PST total 12%?

Any taxes on consignments are included in the price.
On other items, we charge the HST in HST provinces but only the GST in provinces that have a PST.

i will leave it as it would "ruin" it, even if it looked like a million bucks after a buff.

the beat up look is great, has a history.

nahhh, this baby will get action, so long as its in decent shape.

It was cheap enough that its definately a "for fun" gun.


I was eying some of those other ones that were 40's for 500-700. was able to control myself, all the colts went quick.

Judging by the number we sold in a few hours, they must be fairly good. I hope everyone is happy with them. Working on getting transfers all through too.

You might want to feature that info a little more prominently on your consignment page. Coming from a 15% HST province that makes a big difference for me.
