Convert 1911 to 2011???

So, years ago I had a 1911 race gun made. It got VERY little use and I would like to dust it off and shoot. the STI 2011's are very appealing...

Easy question for you guys,
Is it possible to buy a 2011 frame kit and put on my top end (plus safety, hammer,... etc)?

I have no idea if the slide rails are the same and whatnot.
