Convert Savage 111 DBM to Blind Mag?

Just doing some research into converting a savage long action that came from the factory with a DBM, into a blind magazine. As far as I could find out so far, there is a small difference in the rear of the magazine opening in the bottom of the action. The ones that are blind mag. from the factory have a little notch for the lip of the blind mag. box to fit into. The actions that came as DBM from the factory are just smooth at the rear of this opening. If I get a blind magazine box (from brownells or something) is there another way to fasten it in there?
 
It is just as likely to already have the slit as not, have you looked? If not, it is easy to make the slits. I have the max box and follower you need.
 
Yup I had a look at it, it's just smooth. That's great if you have the parts, it's going in a choate varmint stock, that's why I'm looking for a blind mag. conversion. Perhaps I'll swing by if you're around this weekend or something?
