Converted Russian SKS-D type

Anyone knows the reliability of those SKS-D type converted from Russian SKS?

Its converted by Canadian company, so should have warranty. Soviet sks is going to be just that soviet sks. If converted right with proper mags no reason for it not to be reliable. Stock fit and mag adaptor may be the issue on these.

I have one, an SKS-KD (Kodiak Defense modified to take an AK mag). Works great with all sorts of mags. Only thing I don't like is there's no bolt hold open.

That's good to know thanks. Since I have heard about reliability issues with the Chinese variety, and something about wobbly mags.
