If you remove the DA option (delete a piece in the drawbar type mechanism), you still have the same SA pull. Nothing gained. You can improve the SA trigger pull, remove some overtravel, as well as remove a bit of take-up but that has nohing to do with the Double Action portion of the gun... :)
