The Glock 21 SF has an ambi mag release, which requires a new cutout in the mag body that isn't present in old G21 mags. To get an old G21 mag to work with the new ambi release, you just have to cut out the same spot, it takes 2 minutes with a pocket knife.
New ambi-mag on the left, bubba mag on the right.
My work is sloppy, but it seems to function fine. It makes the same click sound going in, feeds fine, and the mag is captured pretty firmly, I can't pull on the floorplate hard enough to make it slip out. Looks good enough for range use, but I haven't live fired them yet. I seriously doubt they'll exhibit any problems.
Meh, Saturday afternoons are fun.
P.S. Don't do this to duty mags, bubba makes no guarantees.
