Converting Rem 700 .35 Whelan to Removable Magazine

Have a line on bottom metal from a 300 Win. Mag. Think that might not work for .35 Whelan. Imagine a 30-06 magazine should work. Understand there are two aftermarket routes, Kwik Clip and another one but have heard varying reports about feeding. Don't know if it is possible to buy Remington parts to go this route. Anybody got experience with this kind of conversion?

the kwik klip setup would work fine. i have one on my 338 06 and 30 06 rems. no issues. you have to modifie your stock to use remington parts so you can't switch back to a floor plate bdl style. the kwil klip allows switching beteen the bdl bottom metal.

Kwik Klip feeds very reliably. I have no complaints in a hunting rifle...

I put the Remington model on my wife's las .260 mountain rifle .It works fine. At least she is happy. Bought it from western gun parts. You have to alter the stock to clear the release buttons. Wouldn't do it with tupperware.
