Cooey 39 Action Screw~what do I have?

Hey guys~recently bought an old Cooey 39 (like the one in the second photo) only it's action screw doesn't look like that. What is the correct action screw for an old Cooey 39 and if my rifle has the wrong one...any idea where I could get the right kind?

Mine has the thumb screw as shown in your 2nd pic.

My cooey 39 that I got as a kid in the early seventies new had the same screw as in your first photo.

Now that I think about it, I seem to recall that the older 39s had the thumb screw, while more modern versions have the pan head screw.

Probably have a couple, but shipping is going to be the same cost as the part.

Did you ever find a screw? I have one, not the best specimen. The bluing is non-existent, and the threads will have to be cleaned up. It does have the collar though and the bushing.

May have found my next lather project,

I have made take down screws for the 10/22 so this would really be the same.
