Cooey 60 or 600 scope mounts

I have a couple of in the process Cooey 60s I am trying to re animate. They are tapped for side mounts, anyone have suggestions or have old weaver side mounts or even the screw sizes to to mount them. I am a closet woodsman, the furniture is something I think I can tackle but metal is not so much my forte. But that said, I enjoy the sweat equity. So all suggestions are appreciated and very welcomed

IIRC, they use Weaver Side-mount #2. You'll need the base, as well as the ring-mount, either normal or high.

Maybe to help - I never could establish whether the Cooey 60 was drilled and tapped at factory or by owner - I believe when Winchester Western bought out Cooey and sold the Model 600, that they were drilled and tapped at factory - #10-40 I believe.

Side mount uses four screws - there used to be Weaver base units that would fit that screw hole pattern - the base units here are simply marked as "1" - a straight small flat thing, and "3" which has an "over top" angle to it. Both base units used a long or short ring combo that attached to those bases with thumb screws - same ring units for either base unit. I know they screw directly on in place of the stamped sheet metal types that the old school rimfire scopes often used. Not sure that either the 60, the 39 or the 600 ever had dovetails milled - but easy enough to do, I think.

I have both a Cooey 60 and a Cooey 600. The 60 is tapped and the 600 has the grooves on the top of the receiver.

Thank you for your input, I know some of the 600s were grooved, saw them at gun shows

I have the side mounts here for the old style 3/4 scopes and the newer style two piece base/ rings for a 1 inch scope. All screws included.
