Hi, my buddy has asked me to try and find a bolt for his 600. Someone fiddled with the orignal bolt and it is in 2 pieces with the keeper pin missing and the firing pin flattened. My question is, are bolts from other models compatible with the 600, or should just the designated 600 bolt be used? Any ideas on parts? Thanks in advance

I`m not sure what other models would work but finding a complete bolt should not be very hard. It`s been many years since i owned a 600 but if i`m not mistaken the firing pin is flat, as are many others, not hard to make a new one if the old one is too short. Most gun repair shops have lots of cooey parts in stock or stick an add on the EE. I don`t have one at the moment but could make some calls if nobody else has parts.

Western Gun Parts lists Cooey parts in their catalogue and might have what you're looking for.

Thanks for the info. Here's a picture of the bolt. The keeper was taken out in an attempt by some clown to fix the firing pin. This is how buddy got it back! Worse than when he started LOL. I guess the bolt is salvageable but I guess the firing pin was the first issue anyways. The spring part of the firing pin(hammer?) moves but the protrusion on the end doesn't(pin?) and I guess there was a ftf problem of some sort to start with.
Thanks again for the replies
