Cooey 600 magazine parts

Hi I'm looking for some help in understanding the parts I'm missing in my dad's old rifle.

Everything works fine on it but I'd like to get it back to 100% and find the missing parts for the tube magazine.
Unfortunately I can't find a schematic of this wonderfully common in real life but mystery on the internet rifle.

I have a complete rifle, the main lower tube for the magazine, basically everything that's permanently attached to the rifle. I'm missing what I can only assume is a spring/follower/endcap combination, but it's proving rather difficult to get information on.

If anyone out there can give me pictures or examples of the parts I'll need to find I'd very much appreciate it.

Not sure what you're missing, but it sounds like you are missing a rod that slides into the magazine? If you're not sure, what I'm talking about is a rod with a spring and "tab" on the end that you slide out to load shells into the mag tube, then push the rod back in to put tension on the shells for feeding into the chamber. Best bet for finding one is by getting a parts gun. Also, there's a lot of discussion of these rifles under gunsmithing. Someone may even have a cross section photo or parts photo. Try pitting a post there as well.

If you cannot find one, I have a retired gunsmith friend that makes them. The inner mag tube is what it is called.
