cooey 600 question

I just recently picked up a rough cooey 600 repeater. it seems to work but im curious about the stock. it has the rabbit engraved into the stock but it has rabbits painted on the stock too. cant find anything about this. wondering if someone did this on there own. also missing the buckhorn, but it was drilled for a side mount I think #2 weaver is that correct

Yep - that's a one-off stock you have. Mine have the engraved rabbits, but almost bare wood. Someone has clearcoated yours, and painted some bunnies. Looks great, actually!

yea its kinda cool I figured someone did it as I couldn't find any info on it at all. im torn as to what to do with it thou it does shoot but needs the front buckhorn or the scope back on it

Rabbits look cool. But, are they painted on or are they decaposh?

it looks to be in decent shape the firing pin is kinda mushroomed but I shot one round with it and it works. not sure how the feeding and ejector system works yet
