where is the serial # on this firearm.had one passed on to me(uncle died)but i don't think it is registered.i will register it as soon as i can.thanks Bucky

I don't think these guns have a serial #. If you register it they will send you a sticker with numbers on it.

I own 2 cooeys and both have NO serial numbers. They are registered and I never recieved or was told about stickers. Might be a provincial thing??

Many of the old Cooeys including the early Cooey 64 series did not require serial numbers until in the late 60s. I have a few 64s that have no serial # either. CFC will issue one sticker for it if they deem it important enough..

Sometimes they will issue a serial number sometimes they wont. A gunsmith told me he can stamp what ever number I want into the action and I can use that as a serial number if I really wanted too.
