Just got it in the mail today and would like to give her a good cleaning!

Picture to follow!:D

Edit: Maybe an easy way to lighten the trigger... look like 10-15+lbs (I can rest the trigger on my finger (barrel down) and it still need a pretty good pressure to break)

There's the main takedown screw that attaches the stock the the action. Once you take that off the hole you unscrewed the first screw out of is another screw that is holding the barrel in place. Unscrew that, remove the clamp by sliding it out sideways and remove the barrel.

There's two phillips screws holding the trigger group in. Those come out then you can effectively remove the trigger mechanism after unscrewing the rear screw. The wag well will come out easily.

slide bolt/hammer assembly forward, take out the charging knob and the bolt assembly should slide out of the front of the receiver.

In order to lighten the trigger pull you'd have to shim the disconnector which could be hazardous if not done right.

It would be best to leave it alone.

Thanks for the info about the stripping, finaly found the manual at the same time Traskj told me the info :)

Need some help about the trigger now... It's REALLY heavy, it's crisp but it take forever to brake, I need to squeeze very hard.

I'll probably buff it with Jeweler Rouge to give a nice polish on the trigger part if I can when I'll clean it, tomorow or tonight.

I don't seem to have a problem with the trigger weight on my cooey.... mind you, the felt difference to me between a 10lb trigger and a 5 lb trigger is negligible. I guess gorilla strength and nerve damage in the hands does that :p

I stripped the gun yesterday evening, looks like there is no way to lighten it... I'll try to polish some areay where there is friction...

Take the trigger group apart, and toss it in your brass tumbler overnight.

Next morning - nice and shiney mirror finish. Should go a ways toward lightening & smoothing the trigger feel

Well the problem with that trigger group, there is only 3 pivot point with a linkage... I need to pull the trigger pretty hard on the trigger to have the Yoke move forward grabbing the Sear by the under notch so it could move down a little to release the hammer.

The only way I see it, is to move the pivot point of the Trigger 1/4inch down and/or play with the angle of the sear/hammer contact point....

Well got the idea (easiest do to I think)

I'll start with a 45degree cut in the hammer shoulder leaving at least 1/16" of shoulder. If it's not enought, I'll do a round edge like a "parabol"...

I'm pretty sure it will help pretty much since the Sear/Hammer contact will be about half less, so the sear will need half movement to drop the hammer.

Just be careful - you can always take more material off if you need, it's more difficult to put it back if you take too much

Well I took the CT Dremel out with some grindind/polishing stones and did my trigger job.

I did a round edge on the hammer, polished it and the sear's contact area.
I can now #### the hammer, hold the rifle muzzle down by the trigger and now it's fire 1 time on 2 (about 5-7lbs).

I'll probably take it for a try tomorow to see if it won't go full auto.

Well look like all I got was the "before" pic of the hammer... they didn't save on the camera weird.

It was pretty simple, I removed the 90 degree edge by grinding some 1/64" maybe in 45 degree angle, then I rounded it with a polishing stone to put it mirror finish.

The sear is just a ~75 degree angle metal piece, I just polished to mirror finish where it was touching the hammer.

or a whetstone. And you could really polish it up with a strop (chunk of leather and some abrasive powder - Ajax would do)

Yeah emery cloth would do, but would be long and you may scratch other surface since it's a small area. If you only debur and polish, it would be all good.

I've got some ultra fine grit cloth... and acess to some even finer lapping compound... but i think i'll start with a scotch-brite pad first.... I've got 15 different colors, all different coarseness :D

So I went into a field 20 minute of my city, and shooted 1x 3 round and 1x 6 rounds mags pretty quick and it didn't went full auto, and the trigger is still nice :)

Can't wait to have my 3x9x40 Bushnell scope to head to the range ;)
