Broke the butt stock in my old cooey a few years back and finally got around to getting a replacement. When I went to it it on I discovered the bolt I had for it is not the right one, I think it's one from an old Enfield I had replaced and it's about 4 inches to short and way to thick to fit in the stock.
The thread seems to be just 1/4" coarse thread, so can I just head to the hardware store and get a 1/4" bolt and use that?
