Cooey carcano help requested

Thank you for the help thus far. Here are some pictures of my Carcano's triggers. Thanks to your photo of the sear assembly, it does appear that the pin holding the retaining block on my carcano has broken off and will need to be replaced.
I also noticed, while trying my bolt, that the double set trigger doesn't seem to work properly. With the bolt cocked, and the hair trigger set, the hair trigger lets go as soon as I touch the forward trigger. However, to complete the firing sequence, I now have to treat the trigger as a normal double stage as the hair trigger seems to do nothing. Does anyone else have this issue ?

After playing around with the triggers and gripping the stock, I noticed that the position of the forward trigger for firing is uncomfortable for the finger to reach. The hair trigger is perfect for my finger and the position is very comfortable while gripping the stock.
For those that have other double set triggers, is the forward trigger usually the primary one ?
Also, I was thinking, how hard would it be to reverse the setup so the rear trigger would, in fact, become the primary trigger ?
I do have a carcano military trigger assembly on order (coming hopefully with the missing retaining block) so atleast I can swap out the double set for a military style that I am use to if this double set is not able to be fixed.

Generally a set trigger was set up so that the handy trigger used the hard pull to "set". Then you just had to lay your finger alongside the far one and she would go. VERY little pressure was used, usually.
Made for scary shooting if you weren't used to it, just super accuracy once you got the hand of it.

Nabs, if you can point out exactly which pin you need I should be able to send one to you. We have a few Cooey trigger groups here that are surplus from Nicki's Cooey build.
Tinman, that one would respond beautifully to the Radocy express blue. It would look new again and the prep isn't any harder than for a good cold blue.

Nabs, it's kind of a simplified/modified/modernized rust blue. From what I've seen so far it is very durable, at least as tough as most factory bluing, but much, much more beautiful.
