Does anyone know where to find this book? Amazon its $999.11. It's only $18.95 from a USA dealer but the site won't accept my credit card. I'd like to read this book just for general knowledge

Yes, as it is the only book out there. It does not go into any great detail about any particular model but it lists most of the known models with brief descriptions. It also gives a bit of Cooey's history. A couple of years ago, John Belton gave me a signed copy of the rough draft for the Cooey book. It is a bit different than the book that was published.

A little bird told me there's gonna be cooey website with some pretty rare images and several models which are not in said Cooey book.

Is the book worth the hassel of obtaining it?

It's a very good book. Covers mostly the pre-winchester history of the company and it covers all the pre-winchester models and talks about what happened to those models after Winchester took over.
