im been looking for a.22 cal model 64 cooey magazine for a year withe no luck could anyone help me

Are they the same magazine as the Lakefield / Savage 64's ? If so, there's a couple of threads on here about where you can get them.

64 A or B?

Lots of 64B mags out there, very few 64A mags.

All model 64 mags are the same, except the first 2 years of production, 1938-39, they used a plastic mag and bracket...now obsolete. the modern mags that are available from Savage Arms work great and are cheap when bought directly from Savage. the converted( from plastic mag to metal mag and magwell) Cooey from 1940 thru the modern Savage 64 use the same mag.

The plastic ones are very hard to find, and expensive when you do. Metal ones are everywhere and reasonably priced.
