Cooey Mod 64B Assembly/Dis-Assembly for cleaning

There is a round or octagon stud that holds a u-clip which in turn holds the barrel on. These two parts are removed, the barrel rotated very slightly as not to damage the ejector, Pull the barrel out of the action. Two phillips screws just behind the mag well come out and the well removed. Next the rear stud that holds the rear of the trigger group. Now the bolt can slide forward and you can pull out the cocking handle thus the bolt will slide out of the action. Clean the bolt and firing pin , clean out the action, I found that a 12 guage shotgun swab works great, Clean the barrel face where the chamber is, Reassemble sliding in the bolt with the firing pin replaced then the bolt slid in til you can replace the cocking handle ( pull back til you can put the cocking handle into the "safe notch"), then trigger group, barrel( caution again about the ejector) uclip and front stud, mag well and stock.... load the mag, happy shooting.

Thanks a lot !!! How do I get the bolt dis-assembled to get at the firing pin?

there may be a lot of gunk holding the firing pin in it's slot. if the hammer is forward, then the tip of the firing pin should be protruding from the bolt face. Just pull this tip up and out of the slot. This slot must be very clean before replacing the firing pin again. If you can send me a pm for my email addy to send pics of your bolt. sometimes guns are made from parts and pieces so they are ill fitted.

Please do not try to further disassemble the trigger or bolt assemblies, they are ney onto impossible to reassemble.
