Hello,

I've recently inherited a Cooey Model 60 .22 and it is missing the ball that threads on to the bolt handle that you use to cycle the action. (Maybe there is a proper name for this part? Let me know)
I'd like to machine a new one, as I think that would be a fun project. Looks like I need to drill and tap it for 1/4 - 20 threads.

Is there somebody out there that could provide me with the diameter of the ball? Also the location of the 2 rings would be great as well. Even a picture of one with a ruler behind it would be a great start.

P.S. If you've seen The Mandalorian, I imagine there's a baby yoda out there somewhere hanging onto the ball I need. :)

Thanks!
Michael

Most likely just 3/4" ball, M6 Thread if Mr cooey was a true Canadian, 1/4-20 if he was a machinist more then a patriot. 1/4-28 if he was a "gunsmith"

Good part to 3D print!

I'll send you one if you want it.
Else, if you want to make one, I'll get a pic when I get home if nobody beats me to it……Was wondering if you could steer me towards one of those cooey bolt knobs by any chance? Would be muchly appreciated.
