cooey model 60 extractor issues

I'm sure this must have been covered before but I could not find anything on here. I have a cooey model 60 and there appears to be too much gap between the extractor and the bolt face. The rounds will pop up through the extractors when feeding from the tube magazine. The rifle will still extract spent cartridges but they are real loose. Anybody have a quick fix? I have thought about bending the extractor slightly but I'm worried I will snap the arms off

I think the extractor is known for problems such as this. Mine would extract but they would point the next round skyward. I did bend it slightly and problem was fixed. Just be easy with it.

The system works fine until it doesn't.
Just remember that these haven't been made in many years, so go easy with adjustments.

It's part of the 'quality' design... small adjustments are required.

Yes - I've had more than one "quality" extractor failure - typically they just break off.

bend until works, then when it doesn't likely lots of those cooey parts still kicking around
