when ever I put in between 5-10 rounds into the mag the first attempt to chamber a round will send 1 or 2 rounds onto the ground and with another cycle of the bolt it will catch the round and will behave untill the mag is empty.....any ideas?

Just a guess here, but it may be your extractor, it may be weak, bent or dirty. I had the same problem. Load 10 rds and the first would not be picked up by the extractor and would flip and land backwards in the open action. Mine also misfired (a lot), bought a newer bolt complete and both problems were solved.
