COOEY Model 64 - Looking for magazines - Advice?

My Cooey has the updated metal conversion and it won't take the Savage mags at all.
If you know a way to fix this, I would very much appreciate it!

Hi Ryan...yes.... to change the magwell , should not be difficult. you can start by filing the notch in the mag til it fits in place with it loaded and bolt closed. Just trial and error at best but do not file too much at a time.
I have done a few and then the mag fits . I have a early plastic mag 64 and 2 mags. both work fine guess i am lucky. but good luck , they are great little guns.

I have my hands on an old semi-auto in nice condition, except the magazine (plastic) is cracked.
(Cooey Model 64)

Any suggestions where I might find magazines for this old plinker?

Early Cooey 64s take a different magazine(that are plastic) than current ones.
