Can someone tell me why a 30-06 M71 would have a cross bolt for a recoil lug and the 243 and .308 do not. Is it just as simple as the fact the 30-06 has more recoil? Dave
Are you sure its an original stock ? I dont recall ever seeing a 71 or a 710 with a cross bolt. Ive had a few over the years and still have a couple but the .225 cal
