Today i ran across one of the oddest guns I have ever seen. It is a Model 75 Cooey, stamped with the Coburg markings, no serial# or other branding but meets all the other Mod 75 specs.
What I first noticed it had no rifle sights just a bead, then I saw it had a pencil size hole in the bore end of the barrel that is about 6-7 inches deep. It gets better, the barrel is smoothbore and does have a chamber. The person that has it knows little about it but recalls it was a Senior model as the barrel cutout allowed for it to be used as a walking stick/cane. Don't hold much faith in the above explanation but I cannot find a single similar pic or description. This gun appears to be factory made. I don't have pics as the old boy got a little hinckey at the request as I am unsure of licencing on his part etc. and it really doesn't matter to me as that is his business.

If anyone can provide any info or direct me to a resource(Even a 1960 cooey book did not list it) I would appreciate it as coming from the country I have seen just about every kind of Cooey and many homemade mods and repairs in barns and back porches but I have never seen one of this make so i don't want to see a collector piece go to God knows where and i want to be fair with him.
