Cooey plastic mags

Recently had a friend 3D a pair of Cooey plastic mags. 3 pieces, fit great, just might not wear quite as long.
Just need to fit springs. Any idea of what original spring looks like, or wire diameter/type/source to use???

Great idea you have there. Looking at the disassembled mag in your picture, it looks like the spring from one of the newer metal mags should work. I would be interested in buying one of those if your friend wants to print off another one.

No problem Jim.
Good idea on the other spring. I had one for a 352 that was apart to try, but it was a bit strong. Also doing a bit of sanding/fitting for the follower and inside of mag body.
Also thinking of trying other printing material compounds. A bit of prototyping so to speak. Might be able to do with a bit tougher stuff.
May be a bit, but I'll message you when one becomes available. Don't want to pawn off an early failure.

Numrich ( when they resume shipping to Canada ), Western Gun Parts, Brownells.

Looks like maybe a mag spring for a Ruger MK 1 or 2 might work. You'd have to cut it but might end up with 2 or even 3.
