Hi goup. I have an older......probably vintage .22 Cooey pump action rifle that only says "Cooey reapeter"on the receiver portion (Action) of the rifle there are absolutely no barrel markings or Model number anywhere on the gun. It is rather an ugly looking piece of Cooey History with a standard large looking butt stock and a very small ribbed forestock. It is tube feed. Anyone know what the Model number might be. I just inherited this from my uncle and kinda lookin at putting it up for grabs and need somekind of idea what it is and what it might be worth.
Thanks Johnny

model 35 pump slide action

first introduced in 1935

list price $12.95

from the limited info I have the early ones did not have a number assigned to them, near the end of production 1938(?) they assigned the #35 to it.

hope this helps.

post some pics, all I have are 2 black and white pic in a book.

This scan from John Beltons book COOEY FIREARMS MADE IN CANADA may help on the info. As for price that depends as always on condition. This model is a little on the rare side as not many where made. More yet alot of the forarms have not survived as they were prone to cracking. I say $250 for a really good example----Cowboy

Thats my Baby! Thanks all. The fore arm on this one is still intact with a small chip missing off the front edge. Action is alittle tempermental at times don't know if this was inherant of these or not. Noe the less this is one very accurate shooting rimfire. I will try to post a couple of pics.
Thank you all again John

Neat'o, that book looks interesting.

Yes back in the 30's most of the rifle manufacturers where making pump action .22's.

IMHO it would be nice if some new models were made as they are very handy rifles.

Taurus makes a modern day Winchester 06 copy, but I don't see many others out there.

Remington makes the model 572 BDL. A sharp looking little pump.:D
