I have an old cooey .22 It is a real beater. It has killed more rabbits than I can even count. It is really small and will fit my kids nicely. Is there someone who can put a scope mount on it for me. It needs to be drilled and tapped or machined dovetail style for a 22 mount.

Thanks

Cooey Model 60? Four screwholes on the left side of the receiver should fit a scope mount (stamped steel). Do-it-yourself'er ...

The Weaver #2 is actually the hardest and most expensive way to go. Brownells offers a tip off dove tail base that mounts on top of the receiver. I’ve used exactly one zillion over the years. I normally mill a loading port into them after I get it screwed on for fat fingers to fish out shells without letting them hit the ground. Three 8x40 holes and you can use a normal site jig or just level it in the mill and drill the holes. And they actually look pretty good. Just about everyone makes one inch rings to fit it. Western Gun Parts or Brownells #080-029-844. Brownells wants $6.99 so morgage the kids! Rod

My 600 was pre drilled +tapped.A used plate and Weaver side mt cost $25 at the Calgary gunshow.Picked up a mint 2.5X K Weaver for $40 done deal......looks better than the stamped one piece that came in 3/4",7/8" + 1".Harold
