Cooey trigger help!!!

Sounds good, the creep I can deal with, but the pull makes me lift the rifle a bit, pisses me off with the scope on it.

While we are on the subject, I just want to make sure I know what "creep" means...

its the amount of pull before it actually makes the bolt move correct?

creep is the distance the trigger has to travel before it breaks.

take a very little off at a time! if you bugger it up you'll need a new bolt.

also check for any burs on the bolt and sear.

I am glad it can be done, because other than the trigger, the gun is shooting VERY well, it's not sighted 100% yet (forgot my vise) and it just makes me smile.

I was contemplating picking up a savage mk2 BV, but if I can get the cooey up to snuff with the trigger, I may not bother with the savage.

But then, I may anyways!

I better be careful, I dont think it would be so much fun to find a bolt for it.

Not a problem - I have an adequate supply kicking around.:D ......... so, get out the side grinder..............;)
