I am looking for a cooey 28 ga. model 84 single shot. My father used to have one that was passed down from his grandfather and it got stolen. I want to collect the entire line of gauges but would really like to find a 28 ga. If anyone knows where I can pick one up please let me know. thanks

Shop on the EE here on forum, you will be able to find them up sale on a regular basis....haven't seen too many in 28ga.

Check out gun shows.I have seen them there from time to time.Just keep looking ,one will show up sooner or later.

My first firearm was a 28 gauge Winchester Cooey Model 84.I still have the shotgun.Still works great.

Keep an eye on the EE forums here on CGN. 28ga must be the rarest version of that shotgun, because I have yet to see one for sale. I would get one myself if I came across one for sale.

I just purchased a Cooey model 84 single shot, 20 gauge last weekend for $100, shipping included. Here it is after I refinished it and fixed it up, a couple of days ago.

It will make a nice little Grouse gun.

The 28 gauge model 84 will show up on here once in awhile. But you have to be quick as there are a few people looking for them. I bought one off of here about 3 weeks ago. I also bought a model 84 in 28 gauge 2 years ago from a collector. I am going to post pics of the 2 guns soon as there is a fair difference in the 2 guns for both being model 84's. I also had 2 of the 840's in 28 gauge but sold one about 3 months ago.
