We were testing new .308 168 gr AMax loads today from 100 - 800 yds, and look what I recovered (from the 800 yd target). It was sitting beside the target on a mound of dirt in the slope/bank. Shot from 700p LTR.

And here's the target. I think I've found the right recipe!? ;)

I'm assuming you can't see the holes with your spotter from that distance, right? :)

Actually we saw them perfectly from where we were :D

We actually ended up setting up the spotting scope up about 120 yds away, and 200' below the target on a logging road. Perfect for spotting hits.

Nothing personal, but If we tell everybody where it is... then there would be no room for us!! ;)

You guys wanna share where the "range" is at? Would love to tag along to try out some of my loads.

Steelco was kind enough to direct him to Kenyon lake & Salsbury lake area north of mission (complete with lat & long), and others were kind enough to answer questions he asked about shooting near Stave lake, thus my guess is that general area.

Photo taken at 12:25pm, sun straight ahead (can take reverse bearing tomorrow), looking through downward sloping valley at snow covered ridge.

Nice. No problem asking and accepting help from others but other way around...

If problem posting can always send a PM to a member asking. Am curious as well.

Do appreciate the pic of the Amax, am trying the SST myself as multipurpose bullet (also trying Speer SPTZ BT).

---

If interest in exploring the area, I have VHF & FSR radio, GPS, spotting scope, no truck though.

I was thinking the same. I asked him the same question on Sniper Central and just got the run around.

What happened to all your pronouns and verbs? Do you talk like that because you are an in fact an alien in human form? I am not trying to be rude or anything, but they always do that.

If my post no longer makes sense its because Pazzo's original post has been edited and the picture I referenced removed - was tempted to post it here but not keen on the ethics of that.

Three pronouns and six verbs in the first sentence alone... As you stated in another thread
Why even bother opening your mouth (figuratively speaking) to give an answer like this?

Last week end I was lucky enough to recover a bullet(Berger 210Gr. VLD) at both 1500yards and 1760{1 mile}! It is sooo cool to have bullets that traveled so far to the target. Both of my bullets were heavily deformed. Indicating to me that even at these ranges they have enough energy to mushroom and perform. Cool!

Wow. Return of the Living Dead. This thread was dead and dissolved. I’m surprised the search function goes back that far!

(Cool about the bullets though).
