Nice pictures to find unless you have horses pastured in the same area.

Longview area by Chain Lakes by chance? I always used to see cougars in that area when I would drive from Elkford to Calgary.

I have a big Tom cougar which passes through my property northeast of Edmonton, near Smoky Lake, Alberta. I like the thought of him being there. According to a friend of mine (92 years old), he states cougar meat is the best game meat he has ever had, I’ve heard that from a few others as well. I would not shoot the one on my property except as a last resort, they are just what makes the bush something special.

The great thing is that old Tom is keeping they young male troublemakers off your property.
