Cooper 56 update

Below is an e-mail that I sent to Cooper, along with the reply. It seems as though a few Model 56 rifles with wood stocks will be shipped to dealers this week. It also seems as though the available stainless actions will be made into the Best Of The West special editions. The 56s are finally coming, but I can only hope that Cooper doesn't put too much priority on building up a stock of the Best of the West series guns. If they do, the rest of us may be waiting a while, for our Model 56s. I am also a little disappointed that the stainless actions are currently being made into the special editions for the tv show, while most of us are still waiting for the chrome moly model 56s.I have a feeling that I am not going to be happy about Cooper being associated with the tv show.

I am just wondering when the Cooper 56 rifles will be starting to arrive at dealers? How far behind are the 560 rifles that I see advertised on Best of the West?

They are going to be shipping out a few of the wood stock M56 by the end of this week and BOW by the end of next week.

Perhaps they'll come topped with Huskemaw optics direct from Cooper.

The special edition rifles do come with Huskemaw optics, and cased with accessories, they are priced at almost $6500.

If it shows by June 1, I will be very happy. But even though mine was one of the first 56s ordered, I can see Cooper putting emphasis on the BOW series guns, because of the huge price tag, which likely means a very healthy profit. I am still waiting for my Model 54 Phoenix in 260, but I do see some model 54 Phoenix rifles being advertised in the USA, so I am hoping that it arrives soon.

On anothet note,this could be the begining of the end for cooper,they are getting very popular,they are getting big,the mass production will start one of these years in the future and the quility of the product could go down hill,mark my words.

Im thinking september for mine,however ive decided that it will be a 2012 hunting rifle.hopefully it does,nt take 18 months or nothing crazy like that because of BOW.however im patient,when it arrives,it arrives,no big deal.

That popularity may already be responsible for the huge price increases for the new Model 56.The good possibility of all Cooper prices rising dramatically,in the near future, was a factor in me purchasing three more Coopers this year.
 
I really don't know what to say about Cooper, except...............it's the American way. Typical tracking history of American manufactures: start business, make models, charge more money, make more models, quality go's south, charge more money, quality heading further south, make more models, quality at rock bottom, company go's broke or needs bail out from government. (ie: GM, Chrysler, Remington, et al). Cooper has now got to big for their britches and now their quality will falter. Now the Americans have their greedy little hands in the european market and the quality has gone down hill with CZ-USA and Beretta-USA. All they think of is mass producing and making as much money as they can......greed. Look at Remington and Winchester today..........you could not "give" me any of their crap products. Yes I do own a Cooper but the rest of my firearms are european. Why European? Quality!

My call is that he's a spammer based in China trying to promote the drop shipped products at the e-commerce web sites in his sig-line. His other posts all seem to "miss the mark" of the discussion threads that they are posted in.
