I was going through the new order of Coopers last night and on it were our first excaliburs. Three were orders that went out to customers so we had to open and inspect (25/05 AI, 280 AI, 338/06).
I'm a fan of great walnut and find it hard to love a plastic stock. (Although I do have one for tough hunts!)
However, these rifles are beautiful with the fluted barrel and spiral fluted bolt. What a solid feel and of, course, the test targets are spectacular. Just a really great hunting rifle. Hopefully, those clients receiving will report their thoughts once they get them. These may be the first in Canada?
Anybody coming to the Lloyd show can see one; we've got 280's and a 25/06 in stock.

Reasonable, seeing how Rem Ti retails for $2500 now...

How much for the Jackson Hunter model, that one looks sweet...

any chance of a left hand side pic? ie. does the B&C stock have a cheekpiece?
I've searched the net and can only find a pic of the bolt side. Spectacular rifle at that price point.
Many thanks

Go onto Cooper arms website if you want to drool until you can actually handle one. SakoAlberta, it is rumored that Montana barreled actions will now be available as fully finished rifles. any thoughts on importing these? Any thoughts on importing just the barreled actions?
