Cooper Jackson Rifle, need info

Hello,

Does anybody have experience with Cooper rifles? I was looking at a Jackson Hunter in 7mm rem mag. Is the action like a rem 700? How about the safety? Does the bolt lock when the safety is on? I hate not having a locking bolt. Last thing I need is to dump ammo when the bolt is inadvertently opened, or worse, chamber a round when I think there isn't one. Also, they come with a 1/2 inch three shot guarantee, with good ammo. Can anyone attest to this?

I have owned a few, no magnums. My wife shoots a westren Classic in 280ai and all have shot according to the guarantee.
I have shot hand loads in all of mine no factory stuff. They send you the load info with your gun with the target they shoot with it.
Action looks like a 700 but it is closer to a sako than a 700 in my opinion. And is exceptionally smooth.
Also has the best drop out mag I have used.
Safety is bolt lock on safe.( at least If i remember right) not near the safe at the moment
