This one was special ordered by a customer. We sent the blank. Just wanted to show what quality wood is available around $800...

wow, as beautiful as that is I would be to worried to ruin it with a ding. Nothing worse then a beautiful stock and a ding in it drives me crazy and thus I only own synthetics. Though at the moment I couldnt afford such a rifle so worrying about dings is moot. Thanks for pics

Cheers!!

Scott, I used to think just like you. But if you never use a rifle, no matter how nice the wood, then its just a piece of sculpture. Little dings only add to an otherwise beautiful rifle. None the less thats a gorgeous piece of wood!!:)

Had a few PMs asking about other blanks. here's a few we have in inventory that are from the same source. They have a light coat of Danish Oil to show the color as it should be when finished. None are as much $$$ as the one in the pics above:

Clay if you order a custom stalk what is the price of the Cooper or is it still 1900 + new stalk and if so do you get the origional Cooper stalk thrown in as a spare ??? Cleve

Its too bad but it actually costs $100 more to use your own wood and you don't get the other stock. Guess its a pain for them to have to tag the wood all the way through :(

Very nice looking rifle. I took my 17FB out the other day and spanked a gopher at 190 yards. I don't shoot my Cooper enough.
