Cooper Mod. 52 action Rem 700 copy?

I'm trying to figure this out. Is a Cooper action a Remington 700 clone? And thus would drop into a 700 inleted chassis?

It's won't be a copy or a clone, at best it will share the same footprint. I believe several custom actions do that. Remington has the patent rights to their extractor system. No one can copy or clone that...

I have a Rem 700, M70, and Cooper right in front of me. The cooper is not a clone of the Win or Remmy. Now if i could figure out how to post pics….
Cooper has 3 lugs, others have 2, and there really is no similarities at all.
